Campaign to Change Direction

Know the five signs of emotional suffering.

C4C has partnered with the Campaign to Change Direction to share the 5 signs of emotional suffering at all their events. Knowing the signs of distress can help you and the ones you love know when to reach out for help and reach out to help. We are all counselors – one who advocates for the well-being of another.

Brevard Public Schools

Counselors for Change believes in the power of mental health to create positive change in our communities. From the organization’s inception, our efforts have been channeled towards providing opportunities for parents of school-aged youth to increase their tools for wellness and understanding of mental health and its impact on children. At Brevard Public Schools’ Parent University C4C’s team of mental health professionals and volunteers hosted a Tools for Change workshop where parents learned tools that they could immediately implement for self-regulation, stress reduction, and self-care. Another school-based family-oriented initiative, Conversations for Change, involves mental health panel discussions covering topics that increase awareness and decrease stigma enabling families and schools to better meet the needs of their students.
